What are the Merge Fields for Custom Form Fields?

A merge field can be added to any custom letter using the {mergeField} format.  

Each custom field in your Custom Forms database has a code.  To access the data stored in that form field you need to know the field’s “TAG”  you can get this information by looking up your form fields in the custom forms section of the software.

Description

{DOB}

Date of Birth

{Gender}

Users Gender (used for IPEDS)

{Race}

Users Race (used for IPEDS)

{Ethnicity}

Users Ethnicity (used for IPEDS)

{SSN}

Social Security Number (used for 1098T)

{ITIN}

ITIN (foreign students) (used for 1098T)

{noSSN}

Has no ITIN or SSN (used for 1098T)

{refuseSSN}

Refuses to provide SSN (used for 1098T)

{SSN_Masked} ***-**-1234

Additional tags exist as defined by your institution in the custom forms section of the software.
