Dual Coding of Courses
Dual coding allows you to "merge" multiple courses into a single course for the purpose of classroom management.
- Shared class list, resources, forums, threads, files and assignments.
In terms of academic records and program design each course is its own unique course.
- Unique course codes, descriptions, tuition rates, credits etc.
Setting up Dual coding is a simple task:
A: Under Navigation go to "Registrar"
B: Click on "Settings"
C: Click on "Joined Classes"
D: Type in the year
E: Select the cohort
F: Get Report
G: Select a Primary Course
H: Select a Linked Course
I: A this list will indiacte if all requiremets for linking a class are met
J: Click on "Link Courses Now"
K: Type "AGREE" in capital letters
L: Click on "OK"
M: Courses were successfully merged
**You have the ability to merge more than one course...
- For the 2nd, 3rd, and so on course merge with the primary course
