Dual Coding of Courses

Dual coding allows you to "merge" multiple courses into a single course for the purpose of classroom management. 

     - Shared class list, resources, forums, threads, files and assignments.

In terms of academic records and program design each course is its own unique course.

     - Unique course codes, descriptions, tuition rates, credits etc. 

 

Setting up Dual coding is a simple task:

 

AUnder Navigation go to "Registrar"

BClick on "Settings"

CClick on "Joined Classes"

 

DType in the year

E: Select the cohort

F: Get Report

G: Select a Primary Course

H: Select a Linked Course

I: A this list will indiacte if all requiremets for linking a class are met

JClick on "Link Courses Now"

 

KType "AGREE" in capital letters

LClick on "OK"

 

MCourses were successfully merged

          **You have the ability to merge more than one course... 

               - For the 2nd, 3rd, and so on course merge with the primary course
