How Do I Add a New Custom Letter?

Explanation

Custom Letters provide you the opportunity to create an inventory of “pre-designed” documents which contain {mergeFields} that can be either printed or emailed to students at some future time..

Custom Letters are documents which can be shared with specific individuals or shared with module teams (registrar, finance, admissions, development etc)

Custom Letters can be designed in a number of sizes:



Custom Letters have access to over 1,000 merge fields.
Letters can be granted access to a specific group of merge fields.  If you want your letter to have access to those fields you have to declare the letter as belonging to a field set.  These letters are accessible through the USERS TOOLBAR under the LETTERS button.

Sharing Letters with Teams
Letters are “owned” by the user who creates the letter, but they can be shared with other individuals or with system “teams”.  Anyone with access to the letter has the ability to print or email it.

Curating the Custom Letter
You can create your custom letter using our WYSIWYG editor.
