Why is the Student Registration System Missing a Semester / Cohort?

In the Registration System, the Registrar can always see all Academic Years and all Semesters/Cohorts.  However, Faculty Advisors and Students will only see what semesters you release or make available to them.

Within this tool, you need to add the semester (or semester code) that you wish to make available in the registration system. 

Use the "+ Add New Semester/Cohort" button at the top of the screen.   In the pop-up box, enter in the full semester/code that you wish students to access within the Registration System (i.e. 2023FA for 2023 Fall Semester).

Once added, you will notice the student will have semesters to choose from within the Registration System (either by Program or by Calendar).

 

When you are ready to close registration for a particular semester, click the “Delete” button on the right.
