How do you build the certificate for a certificate course?

Navigation Path
Registrars Module → Academic Catalog → Directory of Certificate Courses

A certificate course (exam) is not part of the faculty build out tools, it has its own development platform. 

The certificate background can be uploaded to the system using the Certificate Course Development Module.

Uploading Images

Navigation Path
Certificate Courses → <edit exam> → Images 


You can easily upload your image using the image uploading tool.

For best results, the background image for your certificate should be 3300x2550 px (11x8.5) at 120 dpi.  The best file format would be PNG.

Selecting Background Image

Navigation Path
Certificate Courses → <edit exam> → Website → Certificate

Once your image has been uploaded to your image library you can select the image for your background under the website / certificate tool.  From this tool you can also provide the context variables for your certificate:

  1. Certificate Main Line
  2. Certificate Support Line
  3. Signature Name (will show as script on the certificate)
  4. Signature Title
